This cemetery provides a
peaceful environment while having a panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean. This cemetery
is between El Morro and the La Perla and there, lies the resting place for
important figures that have impacted our island. Many of these tombs of this
important figures are topped with graceful marble sculptures and are white or
grey. Some of these important figures are Pedro Albizu Campos, Rafael
Hernández, Alejandro Tapia y Rivera, Jose Julian Acosta, Jose Gautier Benitez,
Jose de Diego and more.
