Capitolio
“El Capitolio,” the capitol of Puerto Rico, is located on the Islet of
San Juan. It is composed of the House of Representatives and Senate. The idea
of “El Capitolio” was introduced by Luis Muñoz Rivera in 1907, a former
resident commissioner. It was created to demonstrate civilian rule in the island.
